This post is about another crack/Hack . Today im going to write about simple,100% free , and fast method to unlock huawei HSDPA (3G,3.5G) dongles/Modems. You can use this feature for unlock these huawei modems-
I think you know the meaning of locked dongles. That means that dongles locked for using one career which you bought the modem from.

After obtaining your code download this simple software to enter the unlock code to your HSPA modem- Download it here – www.ruchirablog.com/tools/huawei-code-writer.rar
Then run it-
Click detect and select your modem from list then click accept.
Then click Unlock Modem and enter your 8 digit unlock code that you got from the forum members-
Then click ok. Whopas Its done. Next post will be about activating hidden voice calling feature for free in many huawei modems. Enjoy your unlocked modem and use it wisely.

Hi Ruchira,
I have a Huawei Mobile Connect HSPA Rotate USB Stick, Model E180. I was able to generate the Unlock Code. Downloaded the unlock utility and ran the tool under Windows 7. When I plug in the USB stick windows detects the device, autorun dialog pops to install the provider software and windows tries to open the SD card, lights flash, but the utility does not detect the port or device. Please Help me on detecting the port and thank you in advance.

insert another networks sim and it will ask for unlock code! You can enter it there! No need of the tool

I got it unlocked using a Laptop Running Win XP pro using your tools, They made it too simple to think. Modem is unlocked. I am using a different carrier’s Sim and the carrier’s utility to connect. It connects and data counter shows active download & upload but doesnt connect to any site on the net – even http://www.google.com returns not found…. ping any IP gives me time out error! Could there be a firewall or a mask running on the modem? Is there a firmware upgrade that can bring this unlocked modem to factory default unlocked settings?
I am using the same pc extensively to access the net using different connections so it is not the PC or browser settings! and the Sim has an open active data package. Please advise.

Are you sure that you have set APN and necessary HSPA connection settings with your new carrier? Even without setting those it might connect in some cases but wont able to browse like what happened to you! So make sure if the settings are correct with your new carrier. I guess you are switching between AT&T and T-Mobile?

We dont need Flash Code only Unlock Code is required for unlocking the modem.

I am using simple mobile service on a t-mobile Huawei U7519. I tried connecting to the internet via by tethering it through its Bluetooth but it is unable to do that. Rather it shoots back the following.
Would be glad it you can help me with configuring the APN and the necessarily HSPA to enable me access the internet service.

well your best bet is calling simple mobile and ask for the settings. it will work on your t mobile network! Im using a tmo phone here in sri lanka too
with an different carrier and it works. you just need the settings right

1. I recently took the code generator and Writer tool and unlocked my Huwaei Aircel dongle .
2. The Dongle is Hardware Locked ..so wrote the Unlock code using Huwaei code writer tool .
3. Earlier it was working for few sim cards(4) and not working for others(3) .
4.But from yesterday when i tryed its not working with any other sims except the Aircel 3G sim which came with the USB Dongle .
5. For All other sim Giving Error “Connection Terminated” with Redail and Cancel Popup.
6. And also its giving ERROR if i try writing Unlock code Again.
So please help to fix the problem.
