I receive vast amount of traffic daily to that post! And I have written the whole procedure to unlock huawei HSDPA modems on that post. If you read it you will see it. And a part of it is calculating the unlock code for the specific huawei modem and the whole procedure is there.

But people keeps asking me how to calculate the unlock code and I recieve at least 2 comments daily asking the unlock code Finally I made the calculating part highlighted !

Why cant they calculate code themselves by reading the steps its briefly explained there?

Yes that’s my question. Answer it if you can!

Using Huawei HSDPA modem to access internet? Most of in home HSPA users use HSPA because they don’t have access to ADSL lines because no telephone exchanges nearby. So if HSPA signal strength is low in your area you might expected low internet speed. How ever most of huawei hspa dongles have a socket to plug in external antenna.

So you have a solution to boost your signal but don’t expect a huge boost from this method. Maybe you will able to get like 500kbps or so boost in your internet speeds but only if current signal strength is low and depends on provider.

If you cant find these antennas in your local electronics store you can try ebay. There are lots of Chinese sellers selling those.

This post is about another crack/Hack . Today im going to write about simple,100% free , and fast method to unlock huawei HSDPA (3G,3.5G) dongles/Modems. You can use this feature for unlock these huawei modems-

I think you know the meaning of locked dongles. That means that dongles locked for using one career which you bought the modem from.

Check your modem for its imei ( Its usually printed on modem) And see this post to calculate your unlock code.

Voila. After obtaining your code download this simple software to enter the unlock code to your HSPA modem- Download it here – http://www.ruchirablog.com/tools/huawei-code-writer.rar

Then run it-

Click detect and slect your modem from list then click accept.

Then click Unlock Modem and enter your 8 digit unlock code that you got from the forum members-
