Today 1st of September some of users start to complain that google’s public service ads started to displaying on their site suddenly. This might be google’s error or they might be updating their ad serving system. Even google’s owned social site www.orkut.com started to display public service ads.
This is annoying even google didn’t given notice about if they are doing updates or not. All the webmaster forums are fulfilled with threads complaining this matter.
Ill keep you updated about the situation as this is developing story!

I’m having this problem today (29th Sep 2009). Ads were showing fine a couple of hours ago, but now I’m just getting PSAs!!
