Full steps to Unlock Iphone 3G OS 3.0 free! 100% tested myself

Recently I got new apple Iphone 3G bought from UK from O2 network and its carrier locked as most of Iphones in the world. The crazy thing is I lost its sim tray which is used to insert the sim card in to the phone, noobs here is a screen shot :P

sim tray

So I searched it on ebay to buy it ASAP. And found one for $7 plus free shipping and bought it. After playing up with the Iphone (it had software version 2.2) and I decided to update the software version to the newest OS 3.0 and done updating with Itunes. The next steps are to JailBreak it. Jailbreaking means it gives access to  install thirt party apps like video reorders and other free aps.

JailBreaking instructions-

I followed these instructions you can follow it too- www.RuchiraBlog.com/unlockiphone

Unlock Instructions- Unlocking needs you to be in a WiFi area on normal method, this sucks because some of users doesn’t have Wifi on their area or home including me. or their WiFi is not working properly might be a hardware failure. SO this is most valuable part on this blog post I found a great software which is mostly not very famous in this category of unlocking iphones but its secure. I followed these steps.-

  1. Downloaded this great freeware! Download it here
  2. Connected
    iPhone 3G
with OS 3.0 Jailbreaked to computer
  3. “Make sure your phone is connected to computer and run the Unlock3G_3.0 batch file and follow the onscreen instructions. (T-mobile users turn off 3G in iPhone setting before applying Ultrasn0w)”
  4. Unlock
  5. Rebooted phone once and if your EDGE or 3G is not working yet then reset network settings once in setting option.

So the Iphone 3G OS 3.0 is unlocked! Make sure to not install the new beta software updates such as 3.1 and 3.1 beta it will remove your unlock and you will lock it again and no secure options yet to unlock that versions.

Next Step- Enjoy your Iphone 3G

Windows 7 Beta Expiring on August 1 2009

Today I have received a email from microsoft like this…

IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT BETA EXPIRATION DATE

Thanks again for your help in testing the Windows 7 Beta.

We’re sending this mail to remind you that Windows 7 Release candidate is available and to make sure you plan ahead for when the Beta expires on August 1, 2009. On June 1, 2009, the PC you’re using to test the Beta will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will send you a notice a couple of weeks in advance, and that’d be the ideal time to rebuild your test PC with a non-expired version of Windows, such as the RC or Windows Vista. This will be a clean installation, so be ready to reinstall your programs and data. (Learn more about installing Windows.)

So, if you haven’t already done so, we highly recommend that you download and install the RC from one of the following sites today:
-

Developers
-

IT Pros/Microsoft Partners
-

Tech Enthusiasts/Consumers

IMPORTANT: If you are running Windows 7 Beta you’ll need to back up your data (preferably on an external device) and then do a clean install of the Windows 7 Release Candidate. After installing Windows 7, you will need to reinstall applications and restore your files. If you need help with the installation process, please see the Installation Instructions.

If you have questions or need help installing the RC, you can get help with your Windows 7 questions at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro/

There’s another expiration date you need to keep in mind: Windows 7 RC will expire on June 1, 2010, and you’ll need to either upgrade to the final release of Windows 7 or a prior version of Windows before then. (We‘ll send you another reminder as this date approaches.)

Thanks again for your interest in Windows 7 and for your help in finishing this product!

SO as you think i downloaded microsoft’s new Windows 7 Beta for testing. It was offered directly by microsoft for testing for bugs. So if we report bugs to microsoft they can improve the final product which they are offering. So after 4 months of using windows 7 beta, here are some of my personal experience about it when compared with Windows Vista.

  • More speedy operations
  • More user friendly
  • Plug and Play options got better
  • Reliable
  • Boot time is fast
  • Windows Media Player is got better
  • Stable
  • Beautiful User Interface

So my computer is on dual boot with windows Vista but now im using windows 7 because its more fast and stable. On April 30 microsoft released Windows 7 release Candidate (RC). I’ve downloaded it but not installed because my current version (built 7100) performs well for me :D . But I will have to install it soon because my current version will begin to restart every 2 hours after 1th of june. lol its a massage to us to remind we should upgrade to newer RC1 or install Vista. But I’ve decided to upgrade to RC1 because I like Windows 7 more than Vista and RC1 will work till next year june 1 and its more good. Also this is a good chance for people who dont have money to buy vista now. So now these days micro$oft looks like they are caring more than past their customers. :P So if you want to get in to test team just download the Windows 7 release candidate 1 from here free of cost.
