cheap reliable VPS,Server providers in Germany
Sep 3rd
If you want cheap and reliable VPS oh sorry I dont think you cant pronounce the word “Reliable” with cheap. Cheap=FLOP=FAIL
It doesnt have to be VPS even its a server cheap providers always fail. but there are few major companies remain in the business since past few years offering cheap VPS and Dedicated servers. like burst.net is USA Im going to point out best cheap VPS and dedicated server provers in Germany.
If you want to get low ping times to anywhere in the world I suggest you to get a Europe server instead of USA server because routes from Europe to territories like Asia are very fast than USA.
Note that this is not sponsored post (paid post) and im writing about what I used and experienced!
Heres the list-
Caffeine went live or SERP increase?
Sep 3rd
Few days ago I noticed that traffic from google to ruchirablog went high. Its started about 29th april 2010. Now I can see that traffic continues to grow up.

In past months many blogs and webmaster guide sites indicated that caffeine went alive but most of then looks like inaccurate information as google didn’t said a word in official about this. But now I can see that some SERP’s on my site increased incredibly and I didnt built links for those articles too so this is abnormal SERP increase. This must be google’s update about something but I cant say caffeine went alive.
Although caffeine seemed interesting in their sandbox. Hope it will be live soon.
Please comment if you got changes like me in your web site!
Twitter effect
Sep 3rd
Oh dont worry about the topic.Im not talking about how twitter can kill people, Im talking about twitter killing websites it can be called “twitter effect” like digg effect. I think you know what happens if your website digged to home page of digg.com this might be simple to you if you have huge dedicated server to handle more requests second. But most of people use shared hosting accounts to host their web sites. And everyone know shared hosting is extremely fragile.
It doesn’t matter if you have installed a php caching plugin like “WP Super Cache” for your wordpress blog if you get 100 requests a second I’m sure that your shared hosting server will crash because they are already oversold.
I can remember that some of dudes invented shared hosting services specially for survive in digg effect. like survivedigg.com they boasts they can handle digg effect on their fast servers. But I don’t know if they will or not,
Ok lets get to the topic!
Ways to fast up image serving
Sep 3rd
Post is going to be bit out of topic I’m going to write about the advantages of hosting your images inside your host for your websites without using external image host like imageshack,tinypic
If you are a webmaster who owns a blog or a web site hosting your images on external image host will help you to minimize your bandwidth usage and server load because host server doesn’t needs to server your image files.
Facebook engineering notes helps you to scale better

Memcached for wordpress
Sep 3rd
IF you have bigger blog or php,sql web site and it if it runs on basic apache,mysql setup with or without control panel you can see that your web site is slow when loading. This is not a reason to blame your hosting provider. It doesnt care how fast is your web hosting server but really mysql queries takes time and load. Thats the nature. But there are better plans to speed up your server.
If you have a wordpress blog like me the first and best solution is to install wp super cache as php caching system. Its very nice plugin even that works in shared hosting platforms. If you are in shared platform only solution is php caching plugin system for wordpress or your cms like drupal,joomla
but if you are in VPS or dedicated server there are better options first one is -
*
eaccelerator www.eaccelerator.net
Second bit advanced tweak is to install
* memcached www.memcached.org
As you can see this blog now uses memcached version 1.4.5 latest,

Memcached is a Free & open source, high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load.
Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for small chunks of arbitrary data (strings, objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.
Memcached 1.4.5
Note that I have used a plugin to view these results on wordpress admin panel.
In my future posts ill explain how to install a 100% complete speedy hosting platform with all new apps and engines.
RuchiraBlog is back with faster setup
Sep 3rd
Already you might have noticed this site is faster than before. I have moved to a vps with burstnet from dreamhost its not because dreamhost is bad its because I want more customization and site speed.
Now Ruchirablog runs on-
* Centos 5.4 Final
* Lighttpd
* PHP 5.25
* Memcached V 1.4.5
* Zend Eaccelerator 0.9.6

Greatest update is memcached. Now this site runs on memcached latest version and enough memory to cache my whole database. And memcached is fully configured to use with wordpress.
In my future posts ill explain how to install a web panel and memcached and all gadgetty apps for run your web sites on even low end server.
